The 4 has a 16.4mm cup, 5.27mm rim and 4.58mm open backbore. The 4BW is slightly wider in cup and rim with a tighter 4.27mm throat and V backbore — more focus, more endurance.
02Will this fit my trumpet?
No. Cornet receivers take a shorter, thicker shank. It won't seat properly in a trumpet.
03Is the wide rim good for beginners?
