Detail 01
Three fully parametric overlapping bands
Each filter band has frequency and Q control, with bands that overlap.

Independent shopping perspective
The dbx 530 brings three fully parametric, overlapping EQ bands to the 500 Series format. Each band provides frequency and Q control with up to 15 dB of reciprocal cut or boost, letting you make detailed adjustments across the available bands. For removing spurious signals, any band can be switched independently to infinite-notch mode without changing the others. The high and low sections can also move between peaking and shelving, while the On switch makes processed-versus-bypassed checks immediate.
