Conn11DN Symphony Series Professional Double Horn - Fixed Bell, Lacquer

The Conn 11DN Symphony series double horn with a fixed bell brings together modern ergonomics and classic Geyer-inspired tone for advancing and professional players. Built with a modified Geyer-taper mouthpipe, the horn offers the right mix of openness and resistance, helping musicians shape phrases with nuance across registers. Its 12" medium-throat yellow brass bell projects a warm yet focused sound that blends easily in ensembles while retaining clarity in solo work. Nickel-silver inner and outer slide tubes add long-term durability, and updated F branch construction supports comfortable hand placement. A reversible fourth rotor expands flexibility by allowing musicians to play in F/Bb or Bb/F, while an adjustable finger hook and mouthpipe water key bring practical comfort to long rehearsals and performance days. Conn Craftsmanship Supports Advanced Technique and Comfort Players who want a horn that responds quickly and stays balanced in the hand will appreciate the 11DN’s modern wrap and refined bracing. The modified Geyer design encourages fast articulation and clean slurs, while the reversible rotary valve gives players easy access to alternate tuning setups. Nickel-silver slide tubes resist corrosion and keep action smooth, helping the instrument maintain consistency over years of use. The adjustable finger hook supports natural grip and reduces fatigue, allowing musicians to focus on color, direction and dynamic control instead of fighting the horn. With a warm, compact voice and ergonomic build, the Conn 11DN is engineered for artists seeking clarity, comfort and expressive range in both orchestral and chamber settings.
