CharvelPro-Mod San Dimas Sleep Token iii Signature Bass V - Gloss Black

As bassist for Sleep Token, iii occupies the low end of arrangements that move between massive rhythmic passages and more atmospheric textures. The Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Sleep Token iii Signature Bass V electric bass guitar translates that role into a 5-string platform built around a 34.4"–35.5" multi-scale layout, custom Fishman Fluence Bass Soapbar pickups and active Fishman 2-band EQ. A poplar body, caramelized maple neck and fingerboard, 24 jumbo frets, individual Charvel single-string bridges and Luminlay side dots round out a signature instrument designed for the extended range and precise control central to iii's playing. Multi-Scale Design for Extended-Range Playing The 34.4"–35.5" multi-scale layout varies the scale length across all five strings, pairing the longest scale with the lowest register and progressively shortening it toward the higher strings. Individual Charvel single-string bridges accommodate the fanned-fret design while providing a dedicated bridge assembly for each string. Together with the 5-string configuration, the multi-scale construction gives the Sleep Token iii Signature Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass V its distinctive extended-range playing platform. Fishman Fluence Pickups With Three Voicings Custom red Fishman Fluence Bass Soapbar pickups provide the electronics foundation for the Sleep Token iii signature bass. A 3-position mini-toggle accesses three pickup voicings, while volume and blend controls provide direct control over the neck and bridge pickup balance. The active Fishman 2-band EQ adds dedicated bass and treble controls, giving players additional control over the instrument's frequency response from a streamlined onboard layout. Caramelized Maple Neck With Compound-Radius Fingerboard A caramelized maple neck and matching caramelized maple fingerboard pair with graphite reinforcement for a robust playing platform. The 12"–16" compound radius transitions from a rounder profile in the lower register to a flatter surface farther up the neck, while 24 jumbo frets provide access across the full fingerboard. A dual-action truss rod with wheel adjustment simplifies neck adjustments, and Luminlay side dots provide visible position markers under low stage lighting. Hipshot Tuners and Individual Charvel Bridges Hipshot Ultralite open-gear tuners provide precise tuning adjustment while keeping headstock mass in check, complementing the individual Charvel single-string bridges used for the multi-scale layout. Locking strap pins provide secure attachment during performance, while black hardware carries the instrument's dark visual theme across the tuners, bridges and dome-style control knobs. A reverse licensed Stratocaster headstock completes the distinctive Charvel silhouette. Extended-Range Design for the Sleep Token Bassist The Pro-Mod San Dimas Sleep Token iii Signature Bass V brings together a multi-scale 5-string configuration, flexible Fishman Fluence electronics and a performance-focused Charvel neck design in a distinctive signature instrument. Its extended range and streamlined controls make it particularly suited to players moving between low-register rhythm work and more melodic bass parts. For bassists looking to explore the design behind iii's playing, the Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Sleep Token iii Bass V electric bass guitar delivers his signature specifications in a production model.
