Independent shopping perspective
Melodious Etudes for Trombone, Volume 2 continues the Rochut-edited Bordogni vocalise tradition in a revised Carl Fischer edition for advancing players. Alan Raph re-edited the music to address errors found in earlier editions while retaining Rochut’s original teaching sequence. Piano accompaniments are integrated into the edition, and the included CD provides PDFs of every accompaniment plus MP3 performances by pianist Rae Moses. That gives trombonists material for both solo study and accompaniment-based expression work.
