Pacific Northwest Tonewoods for Warm, Balanced Tone The RTC-CMYTHe brings together two distinctive Pacific Northwest tonewoods in a combination that complements the intimate character of its parlor body. Solid Western red cedar offers warmth, articulation and a responsive voice that comes alive with a light touch, while solid Oregon myrtlewood back and sides contribute depth, complexity and focused punch. Breedlove's proprietary Sound Optimization process individually tunes each top and back to bring out the tonal potential of the specific woods used in every instrument, helping the compact body deliver impressive projection and clarity across everything from delicate fingerstyle to confident strumming. Slim C Maple Neck and 25" Scale for Effortless Playability An Eastern hard rock maple neck with Breedlove's low-profile Slim C shape complements the RTC-CMYTHe's compact body with a sleek, comfortable feel. The slightly shorter 25" scale length provides a relaxed string feel, while the 1.75" nut width offers ample spacing for precise fretting and detailed fingerstyle work. A smooth African ebony fingerboard with 18 frets completes a player-friendly design that's equally inviting for extended songwriting sessions, accompaniment and more intricate playing. LR Baggs HiFi Electronics for Natural Plugged-In Sound Equipped with an LR Baggs HiFi pickup system, the RTC-CMYTHe is ready to bring its warm, balanced acoustic voice to amplified performances and recording setups. Designed to preserve the natural character of the instrument, the HiFi system provides a clear foundation that allows the nuances of the cedar and myrtlewood construction to come through when plugged in. Whether performing onstage or capturing ideas in the studio, it gives players a natural-sounding amplified voice that complements the guitar's distinctive acoustic character. Tumalo Honey Burst with Refined Roots Series Appointments An elegant Tumalo Honey Burst gloss finish gives the Western red cedar top a warm, distinctive appearance, while a matching semi-gloss stain highlights the natural character of the myrtlewood back and sides. A koa rosette, black binding and centered dot inlays provide understated visual detail, with an African ebony pinless bridge offering clean looks and convenient string changes. Nickel Breedlove tuners and an included deluxe hardshell case round out a thoughtful collection of appointments built for lasting performance. A Fresh Take on the Parlor Acoustic The Breedlove Roots RTC-CMYTHe takes the inherent comfort and intimacy of the parlor format in a distinctly Breedlove direction. Its Pacific Northwest tonewood pairing, individually optimized acoustic voice and easy-playing Slim C neck create a versatile instrument that feels equally natural in the hands of a songwriter, fingerstyle player or strummer, while LR Baggs HiFi electronics extend that character to amplified settings.
