No. This is sized for Bb soprano clarinet mouthpieces. Bass clarinet mouthpieces are considerably larger.
02Does a cap come with it?
No. Buy a cap separately, and check that it clears the ligature body before relying on it.
03How tight should I make the screws?
Just enough that the reed will not shift under playing pressure. Extra tightening reduces reed response rather than improving it.
04Will the gold plating wear off?
Plating is thin and will eventually rub through at the screws and contact points. That affects looks, not how it holds the reed.
