01Does this need a pillow inside the drum?
No. The muffle ring built into the head does the damping. Adding a pillow on top will choke the note further, which some players want and some do not.
02Is this the batter head or the front head?
Batter — the side your pedal beater hits. The front head is a separate purchase.
03Will it fit a 22-inch kick?
No. Drum heads are diameter-specific. A 24-inch head will not seat on a 22-inch shell.
04Do I need a beater patch?
One is not included. A patch protects the impact point and extends head life, especially with hard plastic or wood beaters.
