AmpRx Power SolutionsBackline 2400 Pro Power Station - Brown

Product overview
About this model
Two of AmpRx's signature voltage-control technologies come together in the Backline 2400 Pro, a dual-channel 2400W power station combining BrownBox voltage reduction with Brownie voltage adjustment for precise control across up to eight amplifiers. Channel A provides the dedicated reduction capabilities of the BrownBox, while Channel B adds Brownie technology with the ability to both lower and raise incoming voltage. Four grounded outlets per channel allow two groups of amplifiers or other compatible devices to operate under independently adjusted power conditions, making it easier to accommodate vintage and modern equipment within the same rig. Dedicated voltage and current displays provide real-time monitoring for each channel, giving players and technicians clear visibility into exactly what their gear is receiving. BrownBox and Brownie Provide Two Approaches to Voltage Control The Backline 2400 Pro combines complementary AmpRx voltage-control systems to accommodate a wider range of amplifier requirements. On Channel A, BrownBox technology provides adjustable voltage reduction with separate attenuation and active-reduction controls for coarse and fine adjustment. Channel B uses Brownie technology for bidirectional control, allowing incoming voltage to be reduced in 1V increments by as much as 7V, increased by 3V or 5V, or left unchanged in bypass. Because the channels operate independently, each side can be configured for the equipment connected to its four outlets, with dedicated voltage and current displays providing immediate feedback on power conditions. Eight Outputs Bring Flexible Control to Complex Amp Systems With four grounded AC outlets per channel, the AmpRx Backline 2400 Pro can power up to eight amplifiers or other compatible devices from a single rackmount unit. Each channel supports up to 10A, with total power handling of 20A at 120VAC and up to 2400W for demanding touring rigs, studio installations and backline systems. The combination of BrownBox reduction on one side and Brownie bidirectional adjustment on the other provides flexible power management for equipment with different voltage requirements, while independent channel protection adds 10A fuses alongside the 20A main fuse. A standard 16A IEC connection completes a professional AmpRx power station designed to centralize voltage control across sophisticated multi-amp setups.
