Eight grounded outlets are divided between two independently controlled channels, allowing separate groups of up to four amplifiers or other devices to operate at different voltage settings from the same unit. Each channel can reduce incoming voltage by up to 7V, increase it by 3V or 5V, or operate in bypass, giving players and technicians greater flexibility when managing vintage and modern equipment in the same rig. Dedicated front-panel displays provide real-time voltage and current monitoring for each channel, putting critical power information and adjustment within easy reach. Brownie Technology Expands Voltage Control in Both Directions Brownie technology gives each channel of the Backline 2400 Plus independent control over both voltage reduction and increase. Incoming voltage can be reduced in 1V increments by as much as 7V or increased by 3V or 5V, with a bypass setting available when no adjustment is required. Because Channels A and B operate independently, two groups of equipment can receive different voltage settings at the same time, providing the flexibility to accommodate amplifiers with different power requirements. Individual voltage and current displays provide immediate feedback for each channel, allowing players and technicians to monitor exactly what their connected equipment is receiving. Eight Outputs Manage Complex Touring and Studio Amp Systems With four grounded AC outlets per channel, the AmpRx Backline 2400 Plus can power up to eight amplifiers or other compatible devices from a single rackmount unit. Each channel supports up to 10A, with total power handling of 20A at 120VAC and up to 2400W, providing substantial capacity for multi-amp touring rigs, studio collections and tube outboard equipment. The dual-channel layout also integrates naturally into sophisticated amplifier and cabinet switching systems, centralizing power management alongside the rest of the rig. A standard 16A IEC connection, independent 10A channel fuses and a 20A main fuse round out a professional AmpRx power solution built for flexible control across demanding amplifier setups.
