02Is a sousaphone the same as a tuba?
Same BBb pitch and fingerings, different build. The sousaphone wraps around the body with a forward bell so it can be carried while marching.
03Is 3 valves enough?
Yes for standard marching literature. Three valves is the norm on sousaphones; four valve horns are a concert tuba thing.
04What mouthpiece does it use?
It includes a Yamaha 67C4. Players who prefer a different cup or rim can swap in any standard tuba mouthpiece.
