Yamaha’s YBL-835 Xeno is a Custom Series bass trombone built around a one-piece 9.5-inch yellow brass bell, .563-inch bore, and Bb/F/Gb/D configuration. The model updates the Xeno design with an improved handslide receiver for the bell section and a redesigned mouthpiece receiver. Yamaha describes the result as offering enhanced flexibility and control, while retaining an efficient, familiar feel and accepting more air for a more robust sound. It is finished in clear lacquer and supplied with a Yamaha BL-61D4L mouthpiece and BLC-800 hardshell case.
