Independent shopping perspective
The AC5R DLX is a made-in-Japan concert cutaway acoustic-electric with solid Sitka spruce on top and solid rosewood for the back and sides. Yamaha’s A.R.E. treatment is applied to the spruce top, and the System 71 SRT2 preamp with SRT piezo pickup is designed for natural, dynamic plugged-in sound in studio and onstage work. An ebony bridge, rolled-edge ebony fingerboard, TUSQ nut and saddle, and Gotoh open-gear tuners complete the build. A hardshell case is included.
