Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
VOX’s blue V212HWRX is a 2x12 extension cabinet from the AC Handwired series, fitted with two Celestion Alnico Blue speakers. Its 12 mm birch-plywood enclosure follows vintage VOX specifications and is described as lighter and more resonant than heavily braced designs. The speaker pair brings shimmering highs, warm mids, smooth breakup as volume rises, and a touch-sensitive response to playing and amp settings. With 30 W RMS handling and a 16-ohm impedance, it is voiced as an extension of the classic AC30 sound for stage or studio use.
