Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Buzz Kill Extra Dry is a reusable gel damping mute with extra weight and mass for larger drums. Cut it to set the amount of damping you want, then place it on either a batter or resonant head for live or studio use. Its tacky surface keeps the application flexible, and it can be cleaned with water when dirty. Beyond drums, it cuts cymbal wash and overtones for drier, more articulate ride-cymbal sticking.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Dialing in a flatter snare sound by cutting the gel to the desired damping amount.
- Reducing cymbal wash and overtones for dry, articulate ride-cymbal sticking.
- Using reusable damping on batter or resonant heads in live and studio setups.
