02How long does a reed last?
Depends on hours played and rotation. Rotating four or five reeds instead of playing one to death stretches the box considerably.
03Will these work on my bass clarinet?
No. These are cut for Bb soprano clarinet. Bass clarinet takes a larger reed.
04Why do some reeds in the box play better than others?
Cane is a natural material, so density varies blank to blank. That's why they're sold in tens — you sort and keep the best.
