The Korena take
Toca's Synergy Series Bongo Set combines 2-ply select wood shells, natural rawhide heads, and black powder-coated hoops and lugs. The EasyPlay hoop design is made to protect your hands while enhancing drum sound. Four-bolt tension plates spread tension across each shell, supporting the set's stated high tuning range. With an Afro-Cuban design, sound, and strong bass tones, it is a natural-finish hand-percussion setup with hardware designed around its tuning system.
