Upright double bass. It will not fit an electric bass guitar.
02Will it work on a 3/4 bass?
It is cut for 4/4. On a 3/4 the string is longer than needed and the winding may sit badly at the nut or bridge.
03Do I need to change all four strings at once?
No. Swapping one is normal when it breaks. Do it under tension one string at a time so the soundpost stays put.
