01Does this work on a 3/4 or 1/2 cello?
No. This is the 4/4 length. Smaller instruments need the fractional version so the winding sits correctly at the nut and tailpiece.
02How is this different from the tungsten C?
The tungsten version uses a denser winding, so it is thinner at pitch and speaks faster with a more focused low end. This one costs considerably less.
03How long will a Spirocore C last?
Steel rope core strings outlast gut and synthetic cores by a wide margin. Many players get a year or more before the tone dulls noticeably.
04Can I mix this with strings from another brand?
Yes. Mixing a darker, powerful C under brighter upper strings is common. Expect some difference in feel and response across the set.
