01Will these fit a 35-inch scale bass?
Not reliably. Long scale sets are cut for 34-inch. On a 35-inch bass the winding may end inside the nut or tuner post. Check your bass before buying.
02Are these roundwound or flatwound?
Superalloy is a wound steel-alloy string, not part of Thomastik's flatwound jazz lines. If you specifically want flats, look at their flatwound bass sets instead.
03Why are they so much more than a normal set?
Thomastik strings are built to a tighter spec and hold their tone longer than budget sets. Whether that math works depends on how often you currently restring.
04Do I need to adjust my bass after installing these?
Usually yes. Any change in string type or gauge shifts neck relief and intonation. Plan on a setup, or at minimum recheck intonation at the 12th fret.
