Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Chicago Cubs fans get the compact Taylor GS Mini format with an officially licensed blue team graphic. The right-handed six-string uses a 23.5-inch scale, which is described as easing chord shapes while maintaining snap and tuning stability. Its solid torrefied Sitka spruce top is paired with layered sapele back and sides for a crisp, articulate acoustic response with broad dynamics. The smaller body makes sense for couch strumming, tailgate playing, campfires, and taking an acoustic along when conditions may change.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Keeping a Cubs-themed acoustic handy for couch strumming between games.
- Tailgating, campfire playing, and informal jams where a smaller guitar is useful.
- Players who prefer a 23.5-inch scale when forming chord shapes.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Left-handed players; this model is right-handed.
- Players who need upper-fret access from a cutaway body.
