The Korena take
For left-handed players after a 12-string acoustic-electric, the 264ce-K Deluxe pairs a solid Hawaiian koa top with layered figured Hawaiian koa back and sides in a Grand Auditorium body. The 12-string layout is described as adding sparkling highs, bell-like overtones, and rich harmonics to fingerpicked or strummed parts. Its ES2 system uses a behind-the-saddle transducer with adjustable sensors for amplified work, backed by onboard three-band EQ and a phase-switch feedback filter. A hardshell case is included.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Left-handed fingerpicked or strummed parts that call for a 12-string’s layered harmonic detail.
- Amplified stage or studio work using onboard EQ and the phase-switch feedback filter.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Right-handed players, as this model is built in left-handed orientation.
- Players seeking a six-string guitar.
