Blue channel: Gain, Volume, 3-band EQ, Fat and Bright
Lets you set level and EQ, then use Fat and Bright to further refine the clean-to-breakup channel.

Independent shopping perspective
Designed as Steve Vai’s two-channel Synergy module, the VAI puts a clean-to-slight-breakup blue channel alongside a red channel built for heavier gain and harmonic sustain. Each channel has Gain, Volume and three-band EQ, then its own pair of voicing switches: Fat and Bright on blue, Bright and Boost on red. It gives a Synergy rig two distinct starting points that can be adjusted from the module’s front panel.
