Its dual humbucker pickups and 3-band active preamp provide exceptional versatility, while the roasted maple neck and nyatoh body produce clear, rich lows and cutting mids. With five pickup combinations and a sleek, comfortable design, the RAY34 HH empowers bassists to craft their signature sound. Nyatoh Body Produces Clear Lows and Cutting Mids The RAY34 HH body is constructed from nyatoh, a sustainable exotic tonewood. Nyatoh shares many tonal qualities with mahogany and alder, providing resonant lows, scooped mids and crisp treble. These traits make it an exceptional choice for bass guitar bodies. The deep nyatoh body of the RAY34 HH generates clear, defined low end and punchy mids perfect for cutting through a mix. Unleash your creativity and craft your signature bass tone with the StingRay RAY34 HH. Roasted Maple Neck Provides Stability and Sustain The RAY34 HH neck is constructed from roasted maple, an innovative process that enhances stability and sustain. The wood undergoes a special heating process that minimizes the neck's reaction to changes in temperature and humidity. This results in excellent tuning stability during live performances and recording sessions. The smooth roasted maple neck also enhances string vibration, allowing notes to ring out longer. Dual Humbuckers Offer Signature Tone With More Tonal Possibilities The RAY34 HH gets its distinctive voice from a pair of Music Man designed humbucking pickups. Compared to traditional single coil pickups, the humbuckers produce a thicker, louder output while minimizing noise. This allows you to crank up the gain without excessive hum or buzz. The dual pickup configuration expands your tonal palette, from vintage growl to modern aggression. Engage both pickups for the iconic punchy midrange bark Music Man basses are renowned for. 3-Band EQ Sculpts Your Signature Sound The 3-band active preamp puts comprehensive tone shaping right at your fingertips. The low EQ dial targets the sub-bass, allowing you to tweak the low end punch. The midrange control lets you cut through the mix by boosting the percussive midrange bark. The treble EQ tailors the high-end bite and snap. Find your sweet spot by fine tuning the EQ, then save your preferred settings as a custom preset.
