Bridge magnets
Alnico 5 magnets provide the bridge pickup’s added power and sustain.

Independent shopping perspective
Built for Rickenbacker basses, the SRB-1 set pairs a more powerful Alnico 5 bridge pickup with a ceramic-magnet neck pickup. The bridge adds sustain and a stronger push while keeping the instrument’s tonal character intact. At the neck, special windings broaden clarity and tonal range, with extra warmth and output plus hum-cancelling operation. The bridge unit is larger than the stock pickup, so installation uses the supplied phenolic mounting ring rather than the original chrome ring.
