01Will this fit my Strat without routing?
Yes, if the neck slot is a standard single-coil size. It drops into the existing pickguard opening. Check cavity depth underneath, since the rail bobbins are taller than a standard single-coil.
02Does it actually cancel hum?
Yes. Two coils wired together cancel the electrical hum a true single-coil picks up. That is the main practical difference besides the extra output.
03Can I use this in the bridge?
This is the neck version. It will physically fit a bridge slot but is voiced for the neck. Seymour Duncan makes a bridge variant for that position.
04Will it work with my existing pots?
It will work with standard Strat 250k pots, though 500k pots keep more treble with a humbucker. Wiring specifics depend on your control layout.
