It will fit, but the winding is set for the neck. In the bridge it comes out thin and quiet next to most bridge pickups. Use the bridge model there.
02What does 4-conductor mean?
Each coil's start and finish wires come out separately, plus a bare shield. That lets you split to a single coil or rewire the coils in parallel or out of phase.
03Will the zebra bobbins show?
Yes. It has no metal cover, so black and cream coils are visible through the mounting ring. A cover can be fitted, but that is a separate part and a soldering job.
04Is it hot enough for hard rock?
It is a moderate-output pickup that stays clear rather than saturating on its own. It handles hard rock through a driven amp, but it will not deliver modern high-gain tightness by itself.
