It is warmer than most bridge humbuckers by design. If your guitar already sounds muddy, a brighter Alnico V pickup is the better direction.
02Can I use this in the neck position?
It is wound for the bridge, so in the neck it will sound thinner and quieter than a purpose-built neck pickup. Seymour Duncan makes a neck version.
03Will it fit my Les Paul or SG?
It is a standard-size humbucker and fits conventional humbucker routes and mounting rings. Confirm your cavity depth and lead-wire routing before ordering.
