01Is this the exact mouthpiece Jon Faddis plays?
The design is based on the mouthpiece Faddis used in his Schilke S42L Faddis Model setup. This is the XL heavyweight version of that design.
02Will it fit my trumpet?
It uses a standard trumpet shank, so it fits standard Bb, C and piccolo trumpet receivers.
03How does the rim compare to a Schilke 11?
The inner rim is equivalent to the Schilke 11, so the diameter and feel on the lip carry over directly. The cup underneath is extra shallow.
04Gold or silver plating, does it change the sound?
The difference you notice is feel. Gold is slicker against the lip and is the choice for players who react to silver.
