Independent shopping perspective
Made for left-handed eight-string playing, the John Browne Tao-8 combines a Chaosbreaker neck humbucker with a Colossus bridge humbucker. Its bolt-on build brings together a swamp ash body, flamed maple top, maple/padauk ultra-thin U neck and solid ebony fingerboard. The guitar has 24 jumbo stainless-steel frets, a 20-inch radius, a 3-way pickup switch and push-pull volume control. Hipshot bridge hardware and Grip Lock tuners support tuning stability, while Luminlay side dots give a visible fret reference.
