01Will this fit my NTG3?
Yes. The NTG3 is one of the four RODE shotguns this system is built around, along with the NTG1, NTG2 and NT4.
02Does it come with a microphone?
No. It's the windshield and shockmount only. You supply the shotgun mic, the XLR cable and the boom pole or stand.
03Will it stop all wind noise?
It handles normal outdoor breeze well. In gusty conditions you add a furry cover over the basket; the basket alone won't cope with strong wind.
04Can I mount it on a boom pole?
Yes — it's built for boom and handheld use, which is why the mic sits suspended in elastic rather than clamped.
