Independent shopping perspective
Robin Finck’s signature model is a right-handed, six-string double-cutaway solidbody built around a korina body and three-piece korina neck. Its two Railhammer Chisel humbuckers deliver aggressive tones with fast attack and clarity. In place of a conventional tone control, it uses master volume and Bass Contour; use that control to tighten the low end or move the humbuckers toward single-coil territory. A treble-bleed circuit retains high end as volume is reduced, with a fixed TOM bridge and stoptail completing the layout.
