01Can I use this on top of the snare?
No. Snare-side film is a fraction of batter thickness and will puncture almost immediately under sticks. Use a batter head, coated or clear, for the top.
02How tight should it be?
Tighter than the batter head. Bring all rods up evenly until the head speaks clearly and the wires stop choking, then fine-tune by ear.
03Will this fit a 14 in. snare?
No. Drum heads are sized to the shell diameter and do not stretch to fit. A 15 in. head only works on a 15 in. snare.
04Why does my snare buzz more now?
A fresh thin bottom head is more sensitive than a worn one, so sympathetic buzz from toms and bass becomes more noticeable. Slight wire tension adjustment usually settles it.
