01Does this fit a regular tom?
No. The Crimplock hoop is molded to the head and mounts into marching tenor hardware. A standard drum with a metal counterhoop and tension rods will not take it.
02Is one head enough for my tenors?
No. This covers a single 6-inch drum. A tenor set needs a head for each drum, sized individually.
03How is this different from a clear head?
The suede coating is textured and matte. It takes a little edge off the attack and shortens sustain slightly compared to a clear film, and it does not reflect light.
04Will it dent easily?
Less than a single-ply head. Two plies of film spread out stick impact, which is why Emperor heads are common on hard-hit marching drums.
