Strong match

Who this is for

  • Replacing a pitted or rattling bridge on a Les Paul-style guitar
  • Restoring a project guitar with missing hardware
  • Keeping a spare for a gigging instrument

Consider the trade-offs

When to look elsewhere

  • Strat-style tremolo or hardtail guitars — different mounting entirely
  • Players wanting locking saddles or a tremolo system
  • Anyone unwilling to reset intonation afterwards

What matters in use

The specifications, translated

Catalog numbers tell only part of the story. These are the details most likely to change how this product feels, sounds, or fits into a setup.

Detail 01

Tune-o-matic design

Individually intonatable saddles with height set by two thumbwheel posts. Adjusts action for all six strings at once.

Detail 02

Chrome finish

Bright and reflective. Matches chrome tuners and pickup covers; will look off against gold or black hardware.

Detail 03

Bridge only

Sits on the posts and holds the saddles. It does not anchor the strings — a separate tailpiece does that.

Detail 04

Six adjustable saddles

Each string's length is set independently, so you can intonate properly after a string gauge change.

Final check

Know before you order

  1. 01Measure your existing post spacing — tune-o-matic bridges come in different widths
  2. 02Stopbar tailpiece, posts and studs are not included
  3. 03You will need to reset intonation and string height after fitting

Product questions

Before you decide

Straight answers to the questions shoppers most often ask about this product.

01Does it include the tailpiece?

No. This is the bridge only. The stopbar tailpiece that anchors the strings is separate.

02Will it fit my guitar?

It fits guitars already using a tune-o-matic bridge, but post spacing varies between models. Measure center-to-center on your existing posts before ordering.

03Do I need a tech to install it?

Swapping it is straightforward, but intonating afterwards takes a tuner, a screwdriver and patience. A tech can do both quickly.

04Will this fix my string buzz?

If the buzz comes from worn or loose saddles, yes. If it comes from a neck relief or fret issue, a new bridge will not help.
