Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
A matched two-turntable vinyl setup, this package combines two black PLX-500 direct-drive decks with two Ortofon Concorde Mix cartridges. Each deck offers phono/line connection, USB output, and 33 1/3, 45, and 78 rpm playback. Connect directly to powered speakers or a sound system, or use a PC or Mac with rekordbox to create WAV copies of records; the software can detect spaces between songs for separate files. The spherical-stylus cartridges provide 6 mV output, and their twin pack includes a padded flight case.
