01How many tension rods does my drum need?
Count the lugs. A snare commonly has eight or ten per side, a rack tom five or six, and each lug takes one rod.
02Will these work on my bass drum?
No. Bass drum hoops and claws need considerably longer rods than 35mm.
03Will 35mm rods fit another brand?
Only if the thread pitch and length match. Pull one rod off your drum and compare it before ordering.
04My rod spins without tightening. Is this the fix?
If the rod threads are stripped, yes. If the lug itself is stripped, a new rod will not hold and the lug needs replacing.
