Independent shopping perspective
Pearl’s 14 x 6.5-inch Music City Custom Solid Shell Snare starts with a steam-treated plank of North American walnut, shaped through a process derived from shipbuilding. The shell is hand-milled to 8mm, reinforced with 6mm solid maple rings, then CNC drilled, hand-finished, and assembled at Pearl’s Nashville custom shop. Its TriBand decoration brings Artisan Rosewood and Boxwood together across the shell. The hardware package includes STL100 swivel lugs, 10 stainless-steel tension rods, SuperHoop II triple-flanged hoops, an SR017 strainer, and Ultra-Sound I Type snares.
