Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built around Ovation’s mid-depth Lyrachord body, the CE44P combines acoustic playing with onboard amplification. Scalloped X-bracing, the CP-100 Slimline pickup, and the OP-4CT preamp form the working core. At the amp or PA, bass, mid, and treble controls let you adjust the output, while phase and contour switches offer further voicing options. The onboard mixer can blend the piezo signal with an external source, and the integrated tuner keeps tuning checks on the instrument.
