Ovation1868TX-5-G Pro Series Elite TX Deep Contour Acoustic-Electric Guitar Textured Black

The Ovation 1868TX-5-G Pro Series Elite TX Deep Contour acoustic-electric guitar provides you with resonant tone and premium appointments. Its solid spruce top and maple back produce balanced tone with articulate highs and rich lows. The scalloped X-bracing optimizes resonance while maintaining structural stability. Multi-soundholes instead of a traditional soundhole allow the top to vibrate more freely, resulting in a broader tonal range. Playability comes easy thanks to a fast maple neck and pau ferro fingerboard. Innovative Construction Radiates Tone Rather than a standard soundhole, the 1868TX-5-G features Ovation's signature multi-soundhole design with six smaller openings along the edge of the top. This provides more surface area for the top to vibrate, producing a robust, open tone with rich overtones. The super-shallow Lyrachord body is a durable, lightweight alternative to wood backs and sides. Together, these technologies generate the impressive acoustic resonance Ovation is known for in a featherweight package. Play Comfortably with a Fast Neck The 1868TX-5-G's maple neck has a flat profile that feels fast and comfortable under your fingers. Its pau ferro fingerboard adds warmth while providing a smooth playing surface. Together, the neck and fingerboard make navigating the fingerboard effortless so you can focus on your performance. Plug in and Shape Your Sound The Ovation OCP-1K pickup and OP-Pro preamp give you control over your amplified tone. Adjust bass, midrange and treble to suit your needs. An onboard tuner ensures you're in tune at all times. The preamp's simple controls make it easy to dial in natural acoustic tone or push into more electric territory. Premium Appointments for Serious Musicians Die-cast tuners provide rock-solid intonation for consistent tone and playability. A pau ferro bridge and nut complement the fingerboard. The multi-ply epaulet provides structural support for stable tuning. An included hardshell case protects your investment when traveling between rehearsals and shows. Overall, the Ovation 1868TX-5-G Pro Series Elite TX Deep Contour acoustic-electric guitar provides an inspiring tool for expressive acoustic musicians.
