Independent shopping perspective
Orange’s OB1-300 is a 300W, rack-mountable bass head built around separate clean and driven paths. Its Blend circuit leaves the low end clean while adding adjustable gain and harmonic drive higher up the signal, then combines both paths with a dedicated control. Use the Blend for anything from a clean level lift to a heavily driven setting while retaining low-frequency definition. The post-Blend active EQ gives Bass, Middle, and Treble shaping after the gain mix is set.
