Detail 01
NS Polar piezo pickup system
Piezo crystals beneath the bridge capture vibration from the strings and body.

Independent shopping perspective
Built as a full-size, five-string fretted electric cello, the sunburst NXTa routes all of its sound through the NS Polar pickup system. A side-mounted selector changes pickup sensitivity for arco or pizzicato playing, letting you choose a smoother sustained response or a more percussive one. In active mode, a 60-second AC charge powers the capacitor circuit for up to 16 hours and allows direct connection to low- or high-impedance devices. Passive mode works with a direct box or high-impedance amplifier.
