MidasDL32 32-Input Digital Stage Box

Product overview
About this model
The Midas DL32 stage box brings immense power to your live rig, integrating seamlessly with Midas digital mixing consoles. With the acclaimed sound of 32 Midas PRO microphone preamplifiers, the DL32 lets you place pristine audio right at the source. Just run a single Cat 5 cable from the stage box to front of house and you've got a high-capacity digital snake for routing up to 32 channels. Connect to Midas Consoles for Expanded I/O Designed to pair perfectly with Midas digital consoles like the M32, the DL32 stage box expands your live mixing capabilities. The DL32's 32 microphone preamps give you more inputs where you need them most—at the stage. Then simply connect a Cat 5 cable between the DL32 and your Midas mixer, and you've got a digital snake with exceptional sound quality and latency so low, you'd swear the console was right there with the band. With the DL32's seamless integration, you can control its preamps right from your mixing console. Get 16 Balanced XLR Outputs Where You Need Them In addition to 32 microphone inputs, the DL32 provides 16 balanced XLR outputs right at the stage. This makes it easy to feed in-ear monitors, side fills, front fills or other stage outputs without running long analog snake cables. The DL32's outputs utilize Midas' acclaimed DAC technology to ensure your stage mixes sound full and musical. Connect Anything With AES50, ADAT, MIDI and USB The DL32 offers immense connectivity for a compact stage box. It features AES50 ports to network with Midas consoles and other AES50 devices. ADAT optical I/O lets you integrate with digital effects, mic pres and more. MIDI in/out provides control of lighting, amp modelers and sound modules. Additionally, there's also USB for convenient computer recording and playback. The DL32's extensive connectivity options let you incorporate outboard gear and create a powerful on-stage ecosystem. Cascade Two DL32s for Massive I/O Capacity For mega-sized shows and festivals, you can cascade two DL32 units via AES50 to achieve a capacity of 64 inputs and 32 outputs. That's more than enough to mic every drum, amp, vocalist and instrument on even the biggest stages. With two cascaded DL32s, you can handle the largest shows without compromising on sound quality. Take your live productions to the next level with the power of multiple DL32s. ULTRANET Connectivity for Routing and Control The DL32 includes a ULTRANET port for integrating with other ULTRANET devices like P16 personal monitors, Turbosound IQ speakers and more. Via ULTRANET, you can route up to 16 channels of digital audio and control data through a single Cat 5 cable. This creates a powerful ecosystem for routing audio and controlling parameters—perfect for complex monitor mixes. The DL32's ULTRANET capacity takes your onstage network to the next level.
