Independent shopping perspective
MEINL’s Soleá Line Artisan Pickup Cajon pairs a Baltic-birch resonating body with an internal bass reflex system for deeper low notes. Two four-string groups of pre-tuned, hand-wound metal micro-coiled strings run across the inside of the playing surface. Rounded corners and frontplate thumb notches are designed for playing comfort. When amplification is needed, use the onboard Piezo pickup, external tone and volume controls, and quarter-inch output to route the cajon to an amp or PA. It is made in Spain.
