Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built around 14-inch hi-hats, a 16-inch crash, and a 20-inch ride, this three-piece MEINL set covers a compact working cymbal layout. B10 bronze, full lathing, and the dark finish shape a complex voice that retains clarity and cut. The hi-hats move from a bright chick to a looser slosh, while the crash responds with an immediate, sustaining accent. On the ride, clear stick definition and a musical bell keep patterns distinct.
