Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Martin’s Special D-11E Ziricote pairs a dreadnought body with onboard Martin E1 electronics for acoustic playing and amplified use. The spruce top, ziricote fine veneer back and sides, and scalloped spruce X-bracing are voiced for deep lows, clear highs and strong projection. A Performing Artist neck, high-performance taper and ebony fingerboard give it a smooth, quick-playing layout, while soundhole-mounted volume, tone and phase controls plus a tuner keep adjustments close at hand for rehearsal or live work.
