Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The 00-28 Standard is a grand concert acoustic built with a spruce top, East Indian rosewood back and sides, and GE-scalloped spruce X bracing. It is described as balanced, crisp, warm, resonant, and open-sounding, with sustain and projection suited to fingerstyle as well as strumming. A GE Modified Low Oval neck with High Performance taper joins a refined ebony fingerboard with beveled comfort edges and a 1-3/4 inch nut width. The natural guitar carries a gloss body finish, satin neck finish, antique white binding, and faux-tortoise pickguard.
