LudwigNeusonic Snare Drum 14 x 6.5 in. Twin Shadow

The Ludwig Neusonic snare drum delivers a warm, breathy tone perfect for any musical style. Handcrafted in the USA, this drum features Ludwig's thinnest 7-ply shell ever, with a 4-ply maple exterior and 3-ply cherry interior for superior resonance and sustain. At just 5.5 mm thick, the Neusonic's ultra-thin shell allows the drumhead and snare wires to vibrate freely, unleashing a wide range of expressive sounds. The shell's thin maple plies provide a familiar crisp attack, while the cherry wood inner plies add warmth and richness. This unique ply configuration gives the Neusonic a highly responsive feel and musical, multi-dimensional tone that enhances your creativity. Premium Components for Premium Tone To complement its high-quality shell, the Neusonic is fitted with premium components for the best possible tone. It features Ludwig's Supra-Phonic snare wires, delivering crisp articulation and sensitivity. Smooth, triple-flange counter hoops allow maximum shell resonance. And it's topped with a Remo drumhead, known for providing an open, balanced sound. All together, these first-class parts help the Neusonic achieve its impressive tonal range and playability.
