No. Alto clarinet mouthpieces are noticeably larger. A Bb mouthpiece will sit loose inside this ligature and fail to hold the reed.
02Does a ligature cap come with it?
No. This is the ligature only. If you also need a cap to protect the reed in the case, buy one separately.
03Will this change my sound?
Barely. A ligature's job is holding the reed flat and consistent. Reed, mouthpiece, and embouchure drive tone far more.
