What matters in use
Catalog numbers tell only part of the story. These are the details most likely to change how this product feels, sounds, or fits into a setup.

Detail 01
Built to go on, come off and move frets one-handed, without putting the guitar down mid-song.
Detail 02
Shaped for a curved steel-string fingerboard, so it seats evenly across all six strings on a normal neck.
Detail 03
Cosmetic only. A bright capo is far easier to find clipped to a headstock or loose in a gig bag.
Detail 04
You are paying for speed of use, not for tension adjustment or a case.
Detail 05
On a 12-string or a very wide neck it will not cover the full string spread cleanly.

Product questions
Straight answers to the questions shoppers most often ask about this product.
It is made for 6-string guitar necks, so it works on most electrics as well as steel-string acoustics. Unusually wide or dead-flat necks are the exception.
No. Classical necks are wider with a flat fingerboard. Kyser makes a separate classical version in black for that.
Yes. That is the point of the quick-change design — clamp, release and reposition without letting go of the guitar.
No. Red is finish only. It performs identically to the other colors, it is just easier to spot.
